Entry-Level Field Technician - Construction Materials Testing

The position available is for an Entry-Level Field Technician to join Intertek’s Building and Construction team in Jefferson, Louisiana. This team is part of Intertek’s Building and Construction division, which consists of industry-leading brands specializing in architecture, engineering, and construction disciplines. They focus on delivering the most innovative product and project solutions, supporting clients throughout the construction lifecycle with testing, inspection, and consulting services. The Field Technician will be responsible for conducting various types of site testing — including concrete, nuclear density, and pile logging — under supervision and guided procedures. The role requires traveling to different local project sites and working flexible hours, including shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM and occasional weekend work depending on project needs and weather conditions. The position offers a competitive wage ranging from $16 to $24 per hour, with compensation packages tailored based on candidates’ skills, experience, and qualifications.
