Workdays average upwards of 12 hours with options for 4 and 5-day work weeks. Trainees will engage in comprehensive hands-on training through the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program, which includes ride-alongs with experienced driver trainers. Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip safety inspections, securing and inspecting freight, and managing delivery paperwork accurately. Additionally, trainees assist with unloading products, verifying deliveries with customers, handling cash or check collections when applicable, and maintaining cleanliness in vehicles and loading areas.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid CDL A license, with 0 to 6 months of commercial driving experience preferred. The company values candidates who demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
