The role available is that of a Casino Maintenance Technician - Engineer III, a position crucial for maintaining the functionality and safety of the casino and hotel facilities. The role pays up to $20.00 per hour, with exact compensation based on the individual's experience and knowledge. Shifts run from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm or 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, catering to the continuous operation of the casino. As a Casino Maintenance Technician, you will perform journeyman to advanced level general maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical devices, kitchen and refrigeration equipment, and more. You will be responsible for timely completion of repair work as assigned, maintaining OSHA compliance and safety standards, and collaborating effectively across departments with guests, vendors, and colleagues.

Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older
- must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
- high school diploma or equivalent
- two years of related experience in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, kitchen equipment, or course related training
- proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- able to read and write in English and have good verbal communication skills
- basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- valid driver’s license
- able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs
- physically mobile with ability to perform tasks involving reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, stacking, crouching, kneeling, balancing
- knowledge of building management systems preferred
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- two years of related maintenance experience in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, kitchen equipment or related training
- proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, and Word
- able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, and percentages
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
- possess a valid driver’s license for the state of residence
Job Duties
- perform general maintenance repairs and support functions including plumbing, kitchen and refrigeration equipment, carpentry, HVAC and electrical devices
- notify maintenance supervisor or manager of major repair needs or equipment additions
- receive and execute work assignments via HotSOS and complete work orders
- ensure OSHA compliance and actively participate in safety compliance
- interact effectively with guests, vendors, and team members across departments
- perform other duties as needed for departmental requirements
