The Entry Level Cabinet Installation Technician role at Kitchen Tune-Up Tucson/Marana is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about kitchen remodeling and craftsmanship to join a growing team. The technician will be responsible for executing various cabinet installation and remodeling tasks, including restoring wood cabinets, painting cabinet doors and boxes, redooring, refacing cabinets, and installing new custom cabinetry. As a key member of the project team, the technician will work under the guidance of a project manager and must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, punctuality, and effective communication.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $17.00 and performance-based pay, along with ample opportunities for advancement within the company.   • Ability to work well in a team atmosphere

  • Ability to follow directions without deviating
  • Must be able to match colors
  • Ability to use saws, power tools, and paint sprayers
  • Ability to drill for hinges
  • Ability to install doors and drawer fronts
  • Ability to install roll-out trays in cabinets
  • Willingness to learn and be trainable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to follow directions without deviating
  • Must be able to match colors (cannot be color blind)
  • Experience using saws, power tools, and paint sprayers
  • Ability to drill for hinges
  • Ability to install doors and drawer fronts
  • Ability to install roll-out trays in cabinets
  • Willingness to learn and be trainable
  • Prior experience in cabinet refacing (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to properly cut and install crown molding (preferred but not required)
  • Prior experience in painting cabinets using HPLV systems (preferred but not required)
  • Prior experience in wood restoration (preferred but not required)

Job Duties

  • Arrive to shop or job site on time in logo'd shirt and appropriate work clothing
  • Follow instructions given by project manager
  • Follow Trustpoints on every job
  • Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
  • Able to keep track of tools and keep your job place organized
  • Communicate with project manager daily about progress
  • Work quickly and efficiently (clients do not want us in their home any longer than needed)
  • Restore wood cabinets in the home
  • Paint cabinet doors and boxes
  • Redoor and reface cabinets
  • Install new custom cabinets
