Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a professional kitchen environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare food items for assigned stations according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
- Assist with daily prep including chopping, slicing, portioning, and basic cooking techniques
- Set up and break down stations before and after service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, coolers, and storage areas
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times
- Support service execution by assisting senior cooks and chefs during peak periods
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and rotation following FIFO standards
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and storing food deliveries as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Report equipment issues, shortages, or safety concerns to kitchen leadership
- Uphold Black Desert Resort's ultra-premium culinary and service standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
