The role of Entree Cook at Casa de las Campanas is an essential part of their commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience for their residents. They are currently offering a paid position at $22 hourly with a varied schedule, supporting the need for flexible work hours. This position requires a talented culinary professional who can prepare and serve nutritious, delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the Entree Cook plays a pivotal role in ensuring that food production runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with health and safety standards. Responsibilities include preparing entrees, soups, and modified diets by following standardized recipes and production guides, maintaining proper food temperatures, and overseeing food station setups before service. The Entree Cook must consistently deliver high-quality dishes that meet the expectations of the residents and catered events, ensuring portion control and food presentation standards are met. This role also emphasizes working collaboratively with the kitchen team, adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols, and participating in mandatory training sessions.
At Casa de las Campanas, the position offers more than just a job — it invites candidates to be part of a passionate team dedicated to excellence in senior care hospitality. The community fosters a positive, respectful, and engaging work environment where professional growth, employee appreciation, and team collaboration are valued. Employees benefit from comprehensive insurance plans including medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance, along with a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match. Additional perks include a tuition reimbursement program, paid time off and holidays, pet insurance, AFLAC benefits, and monthly employee engagement activities. The community also supports work-life balance through offerings like DailyPay and a bonus program funded by residents. Casa de las Campanas encourages high standards of professionalism and accountability, focusing on hospitality promises such as personalized greetings, responsiveness, and respect for diversity. They seek an Entree Cook who embodies these values while delivering exceptional culinary service in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment. This is a remarkable opportunity for culinary professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact through their craft while enjoying a supportive work culture.
