Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of production kitchen experience
- at least 1 year of food preparation experience
- ability to speak, read, and write English
- knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to follow recipes and production guides
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
- ability to work varied schedules
- pass background checks including fitness for duty physical and fingerprinting
- comply with COVID-19 vaccination status inquiry if applicable
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate
- minimum of 2 years production kitchen experience
- at least 1 year food preparation experience

- creative food presentation skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- experience with portion control
Job Duties
- prepare entrées, soups, and modified diets following standardized recipes and production methods
- set up food stations before service and ensure proper food temperatures during meals
- portion meat, poultry, and seafood according to guidelines and maintain control throughout service
- taste and adjust dishes to enhance flavor, texture, and presentation
- follow closing procedures for sanitation, food safety, and secure storage
- properly label, date, store, and utilize leftover food appropriately
- monitor and report safety, sanitation, or food-handling concerns immediately
- attend mandatory meetings and training sessions
- foster positive interactions with residents, co-workers, and the production team
- make menu substitutions when necessary and communicate changes to staff
