Known for its warm, professional hospitality approach, the community is dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for its residents. It prides itself on maintaining a welcoming environment that combines comfort, care, and high-quality amenities tailored to meet the needs of senior residents. The community boasts various services and social activities designed to promote a vibrant, engaging lifestyle for those who call Casa de las Campanas home. With a focus on respect, courtesy, and detailed attention to resident needs, the team emphasizes collaboration and professionalism in every aspect of their work environment.

As an Entree Cook at Casa de las Campanas, you will play a vital role in the culinary team, preparing and serving nutritious, delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This position operates under the guidance of the Executive Chef, ensuring that food production aligns with menu standards and adheres to production guides. The Entree Cook is essential to maintaining smooth kitchen operations and upholding strict food safety and sanitation protocols. Responsibilities include preparing entrées, soups, and modified diets according to standardized recipes, managing portion controls consistently, and presenting meals that meet high standards of flavor, texture, and appearance. You will also be responsible for setting up food stations before service and maintaining proper food temperatures throughout meal service.

This role requires a creative approach to food preparation, with an emphasis on accuracy and quality. The Entree Cook will monitor ingredient usage, make menu substitutions when necessary, and communicate clearly with team members to ensure a seamless kitchen workflow. Maintaining sanitation involves following closing procedures, properly labeling and storing leftover foods, and overseeing daily cleaning tasks. The position demands teamwork, attendance at mandatory training, and positive interaction with residents and staff alike, fostering a respectful and friendly atmosphere. Safety is a priority, so reporting any food-handling or sanitation concerns immediately is essential.

Casa de las Campanas offers a competitive hourly wage of $22 and a varied work schedule, reflecting the dynamic nature of meal service in a senior living environment. Employees enjoy an extensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance with zero employee cost share for medical coverage, an employee appreciation bonus, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match. Additional perks include tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays, pet insurance, AFLAC coverage, daily pay options, monthly employee engagement activities, and an overall extraordinary work environment that is engaging and fun. This community prioritizes employee well-being and development while ensuring the highest standards for resident care and dining experience.
