The company fosters an inclusive work environment where continuous education, safety, and collaboration are paramount. This establishes TWG as a respected leader in the beverage industry that values both its products and its people.

The role of Enologist at The Wine Group is a crucial position within the winemaking operations, reporting directly to the Senior Winemaker. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about wine quality and eager to deepen their expertise in the enological process from grape handling through to blending. The Enologist will actively participate in daily production activities at a bulk wine facility, collaborating closely with the winemaking, laboratory, and cellar teams to maintain and enhance the quality and efficiency of the wine production process.

Key responsibilities include supporting the winemaking team by assisting in sensory and analytical evaluation of wines to ensure target quality standards are met consistently. The Enologist is expected to possess a robust analytical background, capable of directing lab analysis and stepping in for lab technicians when needed. They will participate actively in planning and prioritizing blending and finishing activities, responsive to fluctuating customer demands, ensuring the smooth operation of the production flow while maintaining cost-effectiveness and safety standards.

This role demands regular wine tasting to monitor product quality across various stages of the winemaking process and requires coordinating with different teams for blending, process orders, shipments, and operational forecasting. The Enologist may also contribute to new blend development and, in the absence of Winemakers, step in to cover their duties. A vital component of the job is adherence to and promotion of workplace safety policies and continuous professional development.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,304 to $81,200 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. At TWG, employees have the opportunity to work within a globally recognized company that champions innovation, sustainability, and quality in winemaking, while growing their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
