Job Description

Hilton is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences across its portfolio of world-class hotels. With a rich history spanning more than a century, Hilton continues to pioneer new standards in hospitality, driven by a mission to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality. Celebrated for its award-winning workplace culture, Hilton has been repeatedly recognized on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune. At Hilton, the emphasis is not only on providing outstanding service to guests but also on creating a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring environment for its team members. This commitment is reflected in Hilton’s extensive employee benefits and professional development opportunities, designed to empower employees to thrive both personally and professionally.

The role of an Engineering Manager at Hilton goes far beyond traditional maintenance and repair duties. As an Engineering Manager, you become a vital part of the guest experience by ensuring that every physical aspect of the hotel—from buildings to mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, and life safety systems—is in optimal condition and compliant with all relevant regulations. You will lead a dedicated team through rigorous maintenance operations, ensuring safety and comfort for guests and staff alike. The position involves managing complex contractor relationships, coordinating with city officials, and overseeing emergency and routine service requests quickly and efficiently.

This leadership role demands a proactive approach to facility management, anticipating issues before they arise and inspiring a culture of excellence within the engineering and maintenance team. Recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision, and performance evaluation all fall under your purview to ensure a high-performing team that consistently delivers high-quality work. Hilton’s core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency underpin every action and decision in this role.

Working at Hilton means joining a company that values your contributions and supports your overall well-being, providing unmatched perks such as discounted travel opportunities, paid parental leave, mental health resources, and comprehensive health and welfare benefits. The company’s dedication to fostering a positive work-life balance and financial security through various programs makes Hilton an excellent place to build a rewarding career. Whether you are passionate about hospitality, eager to lead a talented team, or driven by the challenge of maintaining the highest standards of facility excellence, Hilton offers a dynamic and fulfilling work environment where you can grow and make a significant impact.
