The company is committed to innovation, professional growth, and outstanding hospitality, investing heavily in its people to offer rewarding careers in various areas of the industry.

Shaner Hotels currently has an exciting full-time career opportunity at its Courtyard St. Petersburg Clearwater/Madeira Beach location, a captivating 91-room Marriott hotel situated along Florida’s picturesque Gulf Coast. This stunning waterfront property is perfect for business and leisure travelers alike, featuring well-appointed accommodations with plush Marriott bedding, 39-inch LCD TVs, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and a host of modern amenities designed to offer guests a comfortable and productive stay. The hotel boasts an outdoor pool and waterfront terrace, a fully equipped fitness center, versatile meeting and event spaces, and The Bistro — a venue that offers delicious meals and specialty beverages against a breathtaking sunset backdrop.

The open position is for an Engineer who will play a vital role in the upkeep, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of key hotel systems including ice machines, refrigeration units, air handling units, and general hotel maintenance tasks. The role requires adherence to Shaner Hotels and franchise standards, a strong background in commercial refrigeration, and basic knowledge of general maintenance procedures. The successful candidate will be customer service-focused, willing to go above and beyond to ensure a memorable guest experience. The position requires flexibility, including availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, reflecting the hospitality industry's demand for consistent operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values teamwork, operational precision, and has a passion for maintaining high standards within a premier hotel environment. The company offers a supportive work environment with benefits, emphasizing career development and service excellence in one of Florida's most scenic destinations, making it an outstanding opportunity for an Engineer looking to grow within the hospitality sector.
