The company values its team members highly, aiming to create a workplace environment where individuals feel valued, engaged, and motivated to build long-lasting careers. This is reflected in Boomtown's mission to foster a culture where team members want to be and want to stay, encouraging personal growth, teamwork, and lasting friendships among colleagues and guests alike.

The role currently available is for a Maintenance Technician position within the hotel. This is a hands-on role essential for maintaining the high standards of the property, ensuring that all physical aspects of the hotel function smoothly and safely. The Maintenance Technician performs routine preventive maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, bathrooms, restaurants, and various public areas. Duties include minor plumbing repairs such as clearing slow drains and fixing leaks, executing finish work like caulking, grouting, sanding, and painting touch-ups, and maintaining hardware including door handles, latches, and hinges.

The position also involves cosmetic repairs to drywall, cabinetry, and interior surfaces, as well as inspection and upkeep of tile, flooring, and wall finishes. A critical part of the role is completing maintenance checklists and logs, responding promptly to work orders especially those impacting guests, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintaining an organized work area and effective communication with supervisors and other departments is essential for smooth operations.

Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, hotel discounts, fuel discounts, property outlet discounts, free concert tickets, and various recreational activities for team members and their families. An exclusive benefit of a free employee meal per shift further adds to the appeal of working at Boomtown, ensuring team members are well cared for during their shifts.

This position requires candidates to be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and comes with the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and respected company.
