Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance management
- Experience with conveyors, PLCs, electrical, plumbing, and fire/security
- Ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs, and walking
- Ability to maneuver through warehouse storage racks and trailers
- Ability to operate material handling and office equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets
- Comfortable working 80% in warehouse and 20% in office environments
- Understanding of blueprints and construction specifications is a plus
- Exposure to industrial safety including confined space and lock-out/tag-out procedures is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Experience in facilities maintenance management in a distribution center
- Knowledge of conveyors, material handling equipment, PLCs, electrical, plumbing, and fire/security systems
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Skills to communicate effectively in person and virtually
- Ability to develop and manage facility maintenance budgets
- Familiarity with industrial safety protocols and blueprint reading is a plus
Job Duties
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of the distribution center and all equipment
- Act as primary authority on repair and maintenance
- Manage personnel in technical and maintenance roles
- Provide guidance on customer service, loss prevention, safety, and expense control
- Utilize knowledge of facility layout and product flow for maintenance planning
- Interface with management regarding projects and coordinate outside contractors
- Lead technical repairs in electronics, mechanical conveyor systems, and lift trucks
