The Facilities & Maintenance Manager role at Wayfair's Port Wentworth fulfillment center is an integral position responsible for maintaining and repairing the entire distribution center and all associated equipment. This includes conveyor systems, material handling equipment, powered industrial trucks, electrical systems, and fire and security systems. The successful candidate will take charge as the primary authority on facility maintenance, manage a technical and maintenance team, and oversee daily operations to ensure all maintenance work is conducted safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. This role demands extensive technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems, particularly conveyor repair and lift truck operations, with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience being highly advantageous.

Additionally, the manager will provide crucial guidance on customer service, loss prevention, safety, and expense control, collaborating closely with department managers and maintenance personnel.
