Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Must have a technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Must possess effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Must be able to communicate clearly
- Must have a strong desire to provide excellent guest service
- Must be willing to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift
- Must clock in and out for breaks as scheduled
- Must provide sufficient notice when calling out from work
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Desire to serve all guests with hospitality and guest service
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to arrive on time, adhere to clock-in/clock-out and break schedules
- Ability to provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names when possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support awareness of all groups and events at the hotel
- Understand and use relevant technology for the role
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greeting
- Keep all work areas clean and well-organized
- Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Always greet guests with a smile during cleaning
- Complete operational checklists accurately and on time each shift
- Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear a clean uniform, nametag, and be well-groomed with a smile
- Maintain clear, honest, and professional communication with team members
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to stretch beyond traditional role
- Collaborate to foster a welcoming environment and positive workplace
- Respond to guest repair requests promptly and document them
- Keep preventative maintenance on schedule per the PM program
- Follow all safety and health codes, including pool and spa regulations
- Conduct full property walks at beginning and end of shifts and document needs
- Keep maintenance areas clean and organized during and after shifts
