Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work Wednesdays 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and additional hours as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage event logistics including set-up and tear-down
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn student wellness and safety topics
- Proficiency in social media and digital communication tools
- Ability to lift or carry materials up to 25 lbs.
- Pass a background check
- Willingness to comply with Title IX reporting requirements
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion principles
Job Qualifications
- Availability to work on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and additional flexible hours
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage diverse university populations
- Professional and welcoming representation of the Dean of Students Office
- Organized with experience in event logistics management
- Comfort working independently and in teams
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn about student wellness topics
- Proficiency with social media and digital communication platforms
- Ability to lift or carry materials up to 25 lbs.
- Dependable, adaptable, and enthusiastic about student success
Job Duties
- Promote the Dean of Students Office and supportive services during Market Days
- Maintain a schedule of Market Days and enlist DOS team support based on weekly themes
- Manage scheduling, set-up, tear-down, and materials distribution for events
- Engage with diverse students, faculty, and staff to promote outreach topics
- Collaborate with DOS teams to support campus-wide educational initiatives
- Utilize social media and digital tools to enhance event promotion
- Represent the office professionally and inclusively during all interactions
