The HomeGoods Store 0784 in Wichita, KS, is currently seeking dedicated individuals eager to join TJX's vibrant team. The role offers a starting pay range of $13.75 to $14.25 per hour, with actual compensation determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Your role will involve training and mentoring associates, helping develop high-performing teams who are knowledgeable about policies, procedures, and company goals. You will act with integrity, adhering strictly to company policies and procedures while fostering a welcoming, valued, and engaging culture for all team members. Flexibility is key, as the role requires availability to work multiple areas throughout the store and includes varied hours that encompass evenings and weekends. Being proactive in resolving customer concerns promptly and maintaining an organized, clean, and safe frontline environment will be critical to your success. You will also be responsible for managing cash controls, coordinating break schedules to maximize register coverage, and auditing operational paperwork to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Furthermore, you will promote merchandising and loss prevention standards relevant to your frontline responsibilities, assisting with damages and stock marking when necessary. Your keen attention to safety hazards and commitment to upholding a safe environment will support overall store operations. Job Duties

  • Promotes a highly satisfied customer experience
  • drives customer loyalty through programs and initiatives
  • addresses customer concerns and issues promptly
  • updates associates on current customer experience feedback, goals, and company initiatives
  • trains and mentors all associates on policies and procedures
  • provides recognition and constructive feedback on cashier performance
  • maintains and monitors cash controls including change fund
  • adheres to all labor laws and meal and break period policies
  • assigns registers and coordinates breaks to ensure optimized coverage at frontline and sales floor
  • audits and approves paperwork
  • maintains cleanliness, recovery, and organizational standards throughout the frontline
  • monitors all frontline equipment, communicating issues to management
  • executes and adheres to company directives
  • maintains and upholds merchandising standards within the queue-line
  • adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention policies and procedures
  • ensures proper and timely handling of damages and mark out of stock
  • promotes a safe environment, reporting any type of safety hazard in the store
  • other duties as assigned
