Job Description

SEP is a well-established software product design and development company headquartered in Westfield, Indiana. Since its founding in 1988, SEP has grown to be one of Indiana’s largest software development firms, employing around 180 talented developers and designers. The company prides itself on assembling powerful, thoughtful teams ready to turn ideas into innovative software solutions. With a client base that ranges from Fortune 100 enterprises to dynamic scale-up companies, SEP maintains a strong reputation for delivering customized, high-quality software development services. SEP’s employee-owned structure through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) reflects its commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Its dedication to cultivating a positive company culture has earned it numerous accolades, including Top Workplaces and Best Place to Work in Indiana awards, as well as recognition as a Techpoint Mira Exceptional Employer.

SEP is currently seeking an Engagement Coordinator to join their client delivery teams. This role is pivotal in bridging project coordination and client support functions to ensure smooth onboarding, scheduling of meetings, timely follow-up on action items, and compliance with necessary requirements throughout project lifecycles. The Engagement Coordinator will be highly valued for their ability to notice critical details that might otherwise be overlooked and their skill in organizing complex projects to prevent important tasks from falling through the cracks.

The ideal candidate is someone who naturally creates structure out of chaos, enjoys supporting others to stay organized, and thrives in a role that involves juggling multiple priorities without losing focus. This position suits individuals previously experienced as Executive Assistants, Project Coordinators, Operations Coordinators, Recruiting Coordinators, Customer Success Coordinators, or similar roles that focus on coordination, support, and operational efficiency. The primary goal of the role is not just task completion but ensuring the seamless movement of projects, people, and processes forward.

Success in this role depends on the ability to schedule and coordinate client meetings, workshops, reviews, and other engagement activities efficiently. The Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for capturing meeting notes and ensuring that follow-up actions are completed promptly. Additionally, they will support staffing, reporting, compliance processes, and maintain project documentation essential to keeping stakeholders informed and aligned. This position requires strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners, reinforcing SEP’s commitment to excellent client service and smooth delivery.

The role primarily requires working onsite at SEP’s headquarters in Westfield, Indiana, with occasional travel to client sites as needed. SEP values professionals who are proactive, dependable, and service-oriented, and offers a supportive environment where employees can grow their impact across the organization while helping others succeed. The company is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
