We are seeking motivated and professional Medical Assistants or EMT candidates with excellent communication skills to join our specialized team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work across three endoscopy centers located within the Treasure Valley, allowing for varied and engaging work environments in downtown Boise, Meridian, and Nampa. Working Monday through Friday during day shifts of 8 hours each, employees will participate in delivering direct and indirect patient care, supporting providers and nursing staff throughout all endoscopic procedures. This role requires adaptability, professionalism, and teamwork to maintain the high standards set forth by IGA. Staff members receive on-the-job training to grow into the endoscopy technician role and benefit from a supportive setting that promotes career development.

As a Medical Assistant or EMT within IGA, you will be actively involved in patient data collection, assisting with admissions, recovery, and discharge within the endoscopy centers, while working under physician supervision. You will use your interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members alike, ensuring smooth procedural flow and exemplary patient experiences. Your duties will also encompass administrative functions like answering phones, scheduling, maintaining logs, and managing supplies, all of which are vital to a safe, clean, and organized clinical setting. The role demands attention to detail, physical stamina to handle responsibilities such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods, and the ability to respond swiftly in medical emergencies. Additionally, you will adhere to privacy regulations, safety protocols, and infection control standards that safeguard both patients and staff.
