The role of Employee Services Associate (Safety & Guest Relations) at Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company is a part-time, non-exempt position within the Human Resources department. Situated at the corporate office, this position is pivotal in delivering a professional and positive experience related to employee services including guest reception, conference support, food services, and overall safety protocols. The individual in this role will act as the face of the company to guests and ensure corporate standards for branding and professionalism are consistently upheld.

This role entails a multifaceted approach to administrative and operational duties. The Employee Services Associate is responsible for maintaining compliance with corporate policies, health and safety standards such as HACCP and Board of Health regulations, and supporting corporate visitor protocols and security activities. This includes monitoring security cameras, identifying and documenting incidents, and promptly communicating any concerns to management. Additionally, the associate provides administrative support for various company events and initiatives, coordinating meal and beverage services as well as managing equipment and software systems including point-of-sale and visitor management systems.

The position demands a strong ability to communicate effectively with employees, visitors, vendors, and management. The associate must operate with a high level of confidentiality and be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds. The job also requires flexibility to work outside normal office hours when necessary, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. The role includes training and licensing requirements for operating corporate equipment and transit vehicles, ensuring safety and adherence to company protocols.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Up to one year of experience in corporate, food service, or hospitality environment

  • Willingness to work modified schedules including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proof of proper licensing or credentials for operating corporate transit vehicles
