The position includes meaningful participation in hospital committees such as credentials, medical executive, sepsis, peer review, and citizenship committees, giving physicians the chance to contribute actively to the hospital's success and quality improvement initiatives. Aiken Regional Medical Center is a 273-bed community hospital accredited as a certified chest pain and stroke center, equipped with modern facilities including a 30-bed emergency department and a newly built 10-bed free-standing emergency department.
