You will be encouraged to continuously develop your leadership skills and nursing knowledge, including evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement initiatives. This position emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to create a healthy and safe workplace that attracts and retains qualified staff.
The assistant nurse manager also serves as a proactive role model, demonstrating the values and ethics expected at Wellstar, including compliance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and adherence to the American Nurses Association’s Code of Ethics.
