We are currently seeking outgoing and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as part-time Event Specialists at BJ's Wholesale Club. This entry-level position is perfect for those who enjoy engaging with people and have a passion for customer service. As an Event Specialist, you will be responsible for representing some of the best brands on the market by conducting in-store product demonstrations that highlight the features and benefits of various products. Your role will be to captivate our members' attention, educate them about the products, and help increase retail sales through positive brand awareness. The position offers flexible shifts generally lasting six hours with a 30-minute lunch break, scheduled between 10:30 AM and 6:30 PM from Wednesday through Sunday. Most employees average 3-5 shifts per week, making this a great opportunity for anyone looking for a part-time role that provides competitive pay and valuable experience.

The hourly wage starts at $12.00 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $14.40. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service or sales experience preferred
Able to stand for extended periods
Strong communication skills
Reliable and punctual
Basic internet and email proficiency

Job Qualifications

High school diploma preferred or equivalent job-related experience
Sales and/or customer service experience preferred
Daily internet/email access and/or smartphone required
Ability to stand comfortably for up to 6 hours a day

Generate brand awareness and positive product impressions to increase sales
Assess customers needs and interests in order to best recommend products
Set up, break down, product preparation and sampling during in-store demonstrations
Timely completion of all call reports, paperwork, and on-going training by required deadlines
