As a server, the individual will provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons warmly, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages including beer, wine, and spirits, and ensuring that guests have a pleasurable visit.

A McMenamins server’s duties are diverse and encompass various tasks beyond the traditional serving role. Besides serving and seating guests, the server is responsible for operating the cash register or POS system, restocking supplies, bussing tables, assisting with dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness both inside the establishment and in outdoor areas during seasonal changes. This role also requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy objects safely, perform repetitive movements comfortably, and stand or walk for long periods.
