The Host/Food Runner/Support Staff position at McMenamins Elks Temple is a dynamic and integral role within the hospitality team. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced and customer-focused environments. Duties include greeting and seating customers efficiently in a high-volume setting, managing phone calls, directing guests to appropriate seating areas, and providing information about the pub, property, and services. The Food Runner aspect of the role involves expediting food orders and delivering them promptly to patrons, ensuring customers enjoy a seamless dining experience. Supporting staff duties extend to maintaining cleanliness, setting and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and general upkeep of the work areas.
