Job Requirements
- valid Class A CDL
- domiciled in U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1-2 years documented tractor-trailer experience
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with no more than two moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- ability to work required schedule and location
- complete application and pass background and drug screening
- maintain safety and alertness during duty
- physical ability to perform job functions including vision, hearing, movement, and lifting up to 50 lbs with occasional lifts up to 100 lbs
- legal operation of motor vehicle including frequent entry and exit
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A CDL required
- applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency required
- ability to work the required schedule and specific location
- completion of Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening required
- ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Job Duties
- travel regionally and nationally to support Penske operations
- represent Penske as a trusted, elite professional driver
- help launch new business and support key strategic customers
- perform multi-stop deliveries in a variety of environments
- use scanners and onboard technology to ensure accurate deliveries
- drive safe in well maintained vehicles with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety including inward and outward facing in-cab cameras
- operate specialized equipment following training
