Job Requirements
- Hazmat endorsement with experience required
- doubles endorsement preferred
- travel required up to 100 percent
- regular predictable full attendance essential
- ability to work in safe manner and accept responsibility for safety of self and others
- able to move frequently, stand, walk, sit
- able to lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally
- able to see and hear sufficiently
- legally able to operate motor vehicle
- must comply with federal law 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)
- complete application and pass background and drug screen
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- hold or able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- follow all federal and state laws and regulations
- English language proficiency
- ability to work required schedule and at specific locations
- pass background check and drug screening
- able to operate a motor vehicle safely
Job Duties
- Travel regionally to various locations as needed
- train new drivers and support new operations
- perform multi-stop deliveries
- load and unload trailers using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages as required
- use scanners to track products during unloading and delivery
- operate late model Penske-maintained trucks
- adhere to safety regulations and company policies
