Job Description

The Clark County School District (CCSD) is one of the largest school districts in the United States, dedicated to providing high-quality education and support services to students and staff across multiple locations. The district values excellence, diversity, and community, striving to create a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and socially. With a strong commitment to innovative practices and a collaborative work culture, CCSD offers employees opportunities for growth and professional development within a comprehensive system that supports various educational and operational roles.

This Elementary Food Service Manager position is a pivotal role within the CCSD Food Service Department, based primarily in Henderson at Taylor Glen C. Elementary School. The position involves managing food service operations to ensure the provision of nutritious, safe, and appealing meals to elementary school students. This role is part of the Superintendent Office, emphasizing the importance of adherence to district policies and health regulations. The Food Service Manager is responsible not only for daily food preparation and service but also for supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the overall wellness goals of the school community. Successful candidates will be expected to bring institutional and commercial food service experience, along with specific food safety and management certifications provided or validated by the CCSD Food Service Department. This role requires a health-conscious professional who values team collaboration and community engagement. Candidates must maintain current certifications such as the SNHD Food Handler Safety Training Card and Food Protection Manager Certification (e.g., ServSafe) throughout their employment.
