Job Description
This job opportunity is with a reputable hotel seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor. The establishment is devoted to providing exceptional hospitality and outstanding service to every guest, ensuring that all operational and financial aspects are maintained at the highest standards. The hotel itself prides on delivering Level5 Hospitality, blending comfort, safety, and memorable guest experiences to stand out in a competitive market. As a full-service hotel, it offers an array of accommodations and amenities that cater to business travelers, tourists, and guests seeking reliable overnight stays with excellent customer care.
The Night Auditor role is critical for maintaining the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight hours. This position primarily focuses on auditing, balancing, and reporting on various financial and operational systems to provide accurate and timely information for management review. Employed on a full-time basis, the Night Auditor typically works from 11pm to 7am, with an average weekly schedule of 30 to 40 hours, allowing eligibility for full-time benefits that support employee well-being.
The successful candidate will perform comprehensive check-in and check-out duties while ensuring proper closing and reconciliation of all Point of Sale (POS) and Property Management Systems (PMS). Through diligent completion of nightly audit checklists and generation of daily audit reports, this role supports hotel policy compliance and operational accuracy. The Night Auditor will also act as the primary contact at the front desk during overnight hours, handling guest requests, managing reservations, and responding promptly to any guest complaints or emergencies with professionalism and care.
Additionally, this position demands proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant hotel management software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Flexibility with scheduling, including availability on weekends and occasional holidays, is essential to meet hotel operational needs. Candidates must have access to reliable transportation and demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and stellar attendance, which are vital due to the nature of overnight shifts.
In this safety-conscious environment, employees adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment when necessary. The physical requirements emphasize the ability to remain stationary for extended periods, navigate the hotel premises, and occasionally handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The role's accounting component necessitates basic computational skills and bookkeeping experience to accurately audit daily transactions.
Overall, this Night Auditor position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to join a team committed to excellence in hospitality, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining financial integrity during crucial overnight operations. It is ideal for individuals seeking a steady full-time role within the hospitality industry with growth potential and full benefit packages.
