Element Palmdale is a modern, nature-inspired hotel known for its commitment to comfort, convenience, and exceptional guest experiences. Situated in Palmdale, California, it offers guests thoughtfully designed suites featuring signature Heavenly bedding, flat-panel TVs, fully equipped kitchens, free Wi-Fi, and a sleek urban design that emphasizes clean lines and a welcoming ambiance. The hotel’s prime location provides seamless access to notable nearby attractions including Edwards Air Force Base, Antelope Valley Mall, and Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, making it an ideal choice for business and leisure travelers alike. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a Motion fitness center, free bike rentals, a heated outdoor pool, patio with BBQ areas, and intimate meeting spaces. The property is celebrated for its Relax evening reception from Monday to Thursday, offering complimentary drinks and light refreshments that enhance guest satisfaction.
At Element Palmdale, the company culture is deeply team-oriented, fostering collaboration, mutual support, and continuous improvement through daily stand-up meetings that celebrate wins and recognize employee contributions. As part of a global hospitality company managing over 800 hotels worldwide, the organization values diversity, inclusivity, and a people-first business approach. Employees are provided with extensive benefits, including hotel discounts, discount programs, online training, management apprenticeships, and leadership development opportunities—making it a workplace where individuals can grow, succeed, and feel a sense of belonging.
The Director of Sales role at Element Palmdale is a dynamic, high-impact position perfect for a strategic sales leader with a passion for hospitality and team building. This role is integral to the hotel’s success, responsible for driving record-breaking revenue and filling the property with satisfied guests. As Director of Sales, the individual will lead sales and marketing initiatives with creativity and energy, ensuring the hotel remains the go-to destination in the region. The role involves managing a diverse sales team: recruiting, mentoring, and inspiring them to consistently achieve and exceed goals.
Furthermore, this position requires strategic budgeting, forecasting, and the development of marketing campaigns that spotlight the hotel’s unique offerings. The Director of Sales also acts as the hotel’s ambassador, engaging in key client relationships through sales calls, tours, and networking events to forge strong business partnerships and enhance customer loyalty. Collaboration is vital; the Director will support the General Manager and work closely with all hotel departments to maintain smooth operations.
This is an overtime-eligible manager (OEM) position, acknowledging that dedicated efforts and occasional extended hours are vital for sustained success. Qualified candidates will be those who thrive under pressure, with strong organizational and presentation skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks independently, and an advanced understanding of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles. Element Palmdale invites sales professionals who are creative, motivated, and eager to contribute to a vibrant team culture to apply and join their growing family.
