Job Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and part descriptions
  • proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, torque drivers, and Go-No-Go gages
  • soldering and wire harness assembly experience to IPC-610 and 620 class 3 standards
  • ability to learn software and enter data accurately
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • trustworthy with confidential information
  • ability to multitask and follow established processes
  • familiarity with aerospace or defense environments preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Trade School Graduate
  • over 10 years technical experience in aerospace, military, defense, manufacturing or similar
  • demonstratable knowledge of fabrication and assembly of electronic and mechanical hardware
  • experience as assembler or apprentice is a plus
  • ability to pass drug and background screening
  • ability to use computers and multitask
  • willingness to work overtime
  • able to obtain and maintain government security clearance

Job Duties

  • Read drawings using tools
  • communicate with co-workers and supervisor
  • deal with multiple jobs simultaneously
  • follow assembly processes
  • review drawings and bills of material for components and fasteners
  • assemble kits using kitting instructions with accuracy
  • assemble wire harness and cable assemblies using shop tools
  • troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical parts with minimal supervision
  • perform soldering and harness assembly as per IPC-610 and 620 class 3 specifications
  • instruct co-workers with job training and fabrication set-ups
  • fill forms and record data accurately
  • verify count accuracy and check assembly descriptions
  • perform other duties as assigned
