Job Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and part descriptions
- proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, torque drivers, and Go-No-Go gages
- soldering and wire harness assembly experience to IPC-610 and 620 class 3 standards
- ability to learn software and enter data accurately
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- trustworthy with confidential information
- ability to multitask and follow established processes
- familiarity with aerospace or defense environments preferred
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Trade School Graduate
- over 10 years technical experience in aerospace, military, defense, manufacturing or similar
- demonstratable knowledge of fabrication and assembly of electronic and mechanical hardware
- experience as assembler or apprentice is a plus
- ability to pass drug and background screening
- ability to use computers and multitask
- willingness to work overtime
- able to obtain and maintain government security clearance
Job Duties
- Read drawings using tools
- communicate with co-workers and supervisor
- deal with multiple jobs simultaneously
- follow assembly processes
- review drawings and bills of material for components and fasteners
- assemble kits using kitting instructions with accuracy
- assemble wire harness and cable assemblies using shop tools
- troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical parts with minimal supervision
- perform soldering and harness assembly as per IPC-610 and 620 class 3 specifications
- instruct co-workers with job training and fabrication set-ups
- fill forms and record data accurately
- verify count accuracy and check assembly descriptions
- perform other duties as assigned
