Job Description

Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC is a prominent company specializing in the aerospace, defense, and military sectors. As a subsidiary of Calista Corporation, Yulista offers innovative solutions and services that support national security and technological advancement. The organization prides itself on fostering a professional and inclusive work environment where innovation, integrity, and excellence are fundamental. Yulista's expertise spans a wide range of areas, including systems integration, manufacturing, and technical services tailored primarily for defense and aerospace clients. The company is committed to supporting Alaska Native shareholders and their descendants and upholds a strong policy of equal employment opportunity for all individuals.

The role of an Assembler at Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC involves assembling kits made of electrical and mechanical components and fasteners. This position requires the assembly of cable and wire harnesses, electrical and mechanical wire, and component integration on assemblies composed of composites and metal materials. The work must comply with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and 610 standards, requiring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to technical specifications. A critical component of the job is the ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, part numbers, and their descriptions, including markings and workmanship requirements to ensure quality and precision.

This position is regular full-time employment, and the assembler will be expected to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including reading drawings, using various shop tools such as wrenches, torque drivers, hand tools, and Go-No-Go gages, and assembling wire harnesses and cable assemblies accurately. The job demands the capacity to review parts lists, bills of materials, and understand the specifics of electrical and mechanical components, fasteners, connectors, washers, spacers, and similar parts to ensure correct kit assembly according to instructions. The assembler will also be responsible for completing forms, recording data, and verifying the accuracy of counts and assembly descriptions.

Candidates with a background or previous work experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, military, or related fields such as the Army will find this position advantageous. Though the job does not entail supervisory duties, it does require individuals to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality and productivity standards. There is potential for professional advancement for those who demonstrate leadership, communication skills, technical expertise, and proactive involvement in processes.

The Assembler role also requires basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to enter data accurately into databases. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary to evaluate data, justify decisions, and communicate effectively with management and regulatory agencies. The company expects its assemblers to be trustworthy due to the handling of confidential information and capable of learning and understanding corporate policies and procedures as they relate to the company’s goals.

Yulista values diversity and provides reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities. They maintain a policy of non-discrimination across all aspects of employment, including recruiting, hiring, training, promotions, and benefits. The assembler position requires passing drug and background screenings and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. The role may require overtime and demands the ability to follow processes diligently, multi-task effectively, and perform basic mathematical computations. Overall, Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to the aerospace and defense industries in a dynamic and supportive environment.
