The role of Electromechanical Assembler II at Ducommun is a specialized position located at the company's Engineered Products Group facility in Carson, California. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 - 5 years related experience and or training
- Experience in manufacturing and assembly particularly with electronics
- Certified soldering skills preferably J-STD-001
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Ability to understand and follow internal procedures
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Safety conscious mindset
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required documentation
- Team player
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 - 5 years related experience and or training
- Certified soldering experience particularly with electronics
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Ability to complete paperwork and shop travelers
- Knowledge of internal procedures and policies
- Proficient in following verbal, written, or diagram instructions

Job Duties
- Perform high skill level assembly work with complex schematics and drawings
- Use hand tools effectively including soldering, wiring, crimping and cable routing
- Conduct final assembly or production build-up of units from complex sub-assemblies
- Perform troubleshooting and rework of production items
- Review and verify completeness of shop packet materials
- Make minor procedural decisions within guidelines
- Plan work sequences and ensure workability of completed items
- Verify completion of work and sign off shop travelers
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
