The Electrician position at Aramark involves executing electrical projects and work orders through the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment. This role is essential to the smooth operations of facilities and requires a skilled professional capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical codes. The Electrician will manage tasks such as wiring installations, maintaining switchgear and transformers, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
This full-time role operates Monday through Friday and offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $43.11, including a second-shift premium of $0.50. Employees become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package after 60 days of employment. The Electrician role demands a strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with all applicable safety standards. Job Requirements
- Active State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician license or Journeyman card
- 1-3 years experience in a process driven electrical maintenance position
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints and interpret specifications
- Ability to understand and apply industry standards for installation, repairs and safety
- Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Duties
- Execute timely and correct performance of scheduled assignments, work requests and projects
- Maintain a friendly, efficient and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients and co-workers
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine correct layout and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment installations
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, Ethernet and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
- Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
- May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
- Research and specify repair parts from manuals and computer sources
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize reliability and value
- Follow all Aramark and safety standards, requirements by the appropriate accredited local agencies and operating procedures
- Adhere to all Aramark appearance standards and always wear the required uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) while working
