The Electrical Assembly Technician II/III role at Robertson Fuel Systems involves critical responsibilities in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components that are key to aviation and ground vehicle fuel systems. Moreover, candidates should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while supporting team-based learning and training initiatives for less experienced technicians.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- three to eight years of experience in an electrical assembly role
- soldering certification preferred or ability to obtain
- ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and blueprints
- proficiency in wire preparation, stripping, crimping, soldering, and termination
- ability to use hand and power tools safely
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- effective communication skills in English
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as walking, sitting, climbing, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling
- compliance with safety and company policies
- experience working in a climate-controlled lab environment

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- a minimum of three to eight years of experience in an electrical assembly role (aircraft-related preferred)
- ability to perform level I and II tasks per the training matrix
- soldering certification or the ability to obtain soldering certification
- understanding of general aircraft electrician techniques such as wire preparation, stripping, crimping, soldering and termination
- familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures in either the aircraft or ground vehicle electrical systems or components
- ability to read and interpret blueprint wiring schematics and specifications
- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues
- mathematical understanding consistent with educational requirements
- ability to read, write and communicate clearly and effectively in English
- ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- ability to use various tools to identify and solve problems

Job Duties
- Assembles wiring harnesses, cables, relay boxes, and control panels
- reads and understands electrical assembly drawings, wire diagrams, shop orders, work instructions, and manufacturing orders
- disassembles and cleans components for aviation and ground vehicle fuel systems
- operates a broad variety of equipment and hand/power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- performs functions in the ERP system related to the position
- performs testing and troubleshooting of sub-system components and complete assemblies
- adherence to export control and technology control plan (TCP) as applicable to job function
- adherence to compliance plan and employee policy manual
- ability to accomplish duties and responsibilities with minimal or intermittent supervision
- reads and understands contracts generated by picking tickets
- initiates change/deficiency requests for drawings, work orders, work instructions, and manufacturing orders
- screens assembly of sub-system components and complete assemblies
- assists with training and on-the-job learning initiatives for lesser experienced electrical assembly technicians
- prepares systems and assembled components to meet all quality standards and guidelines before ATL, quality, and DCMA inspection
- interacts with contracts, quality, supply chain and engineering as required
