As an Electrical Assembler III at Collins Aerospace, you will play a critical role in the production process, particularly assembling and testing electronic and electro-mechanical components used in aerospace applications. This onsite position is located in Phoenix, Arizona. The role requires hands-on experience with assembly techniques, soldering, wiring, potting, and inspection to ensure that products meet stringent aerospace standards and quality requirements. You will be responsible for assembling printed wiring boards and unit assemblies, performing soldering following J-STD001 standards, measuring and mixing chemicals for potting, and using various manual and powered tools.

This role demands attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret complex assembly and engineering documentation, alongside utilizing computer systems for work instructions, labor charging, and standards compliance. Candidates must meet U.S. citizenship requirements as the role involves access to sensitive information under specific contracts. While no security clearance is required, adherence to security protocols is part of the job.

The Electrical Assembler III role is integral to maintaining workflow efficiency and product quality. You will inspect components for accuracy, verify materials, and maintain precise records of all work performed. Training other employees and performing additional duties as assigned will also be part of your responsibilities. The position offers a supportive work environment with physical demands typical of assembly work, including lifting up to 25 pounds, sitting or standing for extended periods, and using fine motor skills for detailed tasks.
