Job Duties

  • Supervise assigned shifts and establish priorities for crewmembers
  • Assign work stations and manage crew during shifts
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline crew members
  • Maintain positive employee relations and a harassment-free work environment
  • Fill in for crewmembers during breaks and cover work stations as needed
  • Manage company funds, complete audits, and perform cash handling duties
  • Complete administrative tasks related to shift operations
  • Prepare product orders when necessary
  • Adjust staffing levels based on anticipated sales volume
  • Orient, train, and cross-train new crew members
  • Ensure proper handling and quality of food products
  • Prevent food shortages, waste, and theft
  • Report employee issues to management or human resources
  • Ensure cash handling, banking, and security procedures are followed
  • Maintain service quality regarding speed, accuracy, and friendliness
  • Resolve guest complaints during shifts
  • Check in deliveries and verify orders
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures during shifts
