We are currently seeking experienced servers who excel in fine dining service to join our vibrant team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every guest receives an unforgettable dining experience marked by professionalism, precision, and genuine hospitality. Servers at El Gaucho Boise are expected to possess comprehensive knowledge of food, beverage, and wine to confidently guide guests through their dining journey. As a server, you will manage 3-4 tables at a time, ensuring seamless coordination between the front and back of the house. Your expertise in fine dining coursing and proper steps of service will be instrumental in delivering timely and elegant dining presentations. This position demands strong salesmanship skills, rooted not only in product knowledge but also in a sincere desire to enhance the guest experience.

The role involves mastery of POS systems for efficient order processing and payment handling, alongside the ability to manage cash transactions accurately. Effective communication and coordination are essential as you work closely with kitchen staff and fellow team members to maintain high standards of service. Tableside service experience is considered a valuable asset, enhancing the interactive nature of guest interactions.

The position is offered as an hourly wage starting at $12.00 during a two-week training period. After training, the compensation structure includes a base pay of $3.35 per hour plus tips, with most servers earning between $40 and $60 per hour when tips are factored in. Earnings can vary based on individual sales performance and guest gratuities.

El Gaucho Boise emphasizes work-life balance by closing on Sundays and Mondays, except for special events. This schedule provides valuable downtime for staff.
