Job Requirements

  • Must have sufficient mobility to move or operate in work area
  • must meet government regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling
  • must be able to understand and follow company recipes
  • must have basic math skills, including units of measurement
  • must be able to observe and ensure product is prepared and presented to company standards
  • must be at least 18 years old to cut chicken

Job Duties

  • Follow company food handling and safety procedures
  • rotate and organize products in storage areas using FIFO method
  • inspect whole chickens and raw meats for quality standards
  • prepare, marinate and season whole chicken
  • thaw and store raw meats to projected needs
  • maintain proper cooking levels of whole chicken and other meats through shifts
  • cook whole chicken and grilled products per company standards
  • receive orders and cut whole chicken
  • arrange chicken for presentation on plate or packaging
  • cut, stock, and rotate grilled products as needed
  • monitor quality and holding times of cooked chicken
  • maintain serving temperatures
  • assist expediter and burrito assembly
  • clean and sanitize work area, equipment, tools, and storage containers
  • assist in training new cooks
  • perform additional duties as assigned
  • store and rotate food product shipments using FIFO
  • inspect cold food ingredients for quality
  • prepare and package cold food products
  • move products to front line and drive-thru coolers
  • assist in training cold prep staff
