The role offered is for a Cook specializing in preparing grilled chicken and other related products. This is an integral position within the kitchen team, where the employee is responsible for preparing, cooking, storing, and cutting whole chickens as well as managing other grilled meats. The Cook reports directly to the Assistant Manager and General Manager, operating in a structured environment that values efficiency, quality control, and safety. The Cook's responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks including seasoning and marinating chicken, monitoring cooking maintenance to meet business volumes, ensuring proper food presentation, and maintaining a spotless and sanitized workstation. The position requires adherence to specific company food handling and safety procedures to guarantee that food is prepared under strict quality standards.
Moreover, the Cook is expected to manage inventory and storage by rotating and organizing products using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method, inspecting raw chicken and meats for quality, and ensuring all grilled products are held at correct temperatures and timings. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Must have sufficient mobility to move or operate in work area

Job Duties
- Follows company food handling and safety procedures
- Rotates and organizes products in storage using FIFO method
- Inspects whole chickens and raw meats for quality standards
- Prepares, marinates, and seasons whole chicken
- Thaws and stores raw meats to projected needs
- Maintains proper levels of cooking chicken and meats based on business activity
- Cooks whole chicken and grilled products to company standards
- Receives orders and cuts whole chicken
- Arranges chicken for presentation
- Cuts, stocks, and rotates grilled products
- Monitors quality of cooked chicken and acts on hold time expiry
- Maintains proper serving temperature of cooked meats
- Assists expediter and burrito assembly personnel
- Cleans and sanitizes work area and equipment
- Assists in training new cooks
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- Stores shipments using FIFO system
- Rotates and organizes walk-in products
- Inspects cold food product ingredients
- Prepares and packages cold food products per standards
- Moves packaged items to front line and drive-thru coolers
- Assists in training cold prep persons
