Insperity is a leading provider of comprehensive, scalable human resources (HR) solutions, renowned across the United States for its blend of premium HR services and cutting-edge technology. With over 90 locations nationwide, Insperity serves thousands of businesses and communities, offering tailored workforce solutions that empower companies to optimize their human capital management strategies effectively. The company prides itself on fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace environment, where employees feel a strong sense of belonging and are encouraged to celebrate both personal and professional milestones. This culture of inclusivity and commitment to excellence has earned Insperity recognition as a top workplace by respected organizations such as Glassdoor and U.S. News & World Report, alongside accolades for its outstanding early talent programs.
The role of an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Specialist at Insperity is pivotal in supporting clients by ensuring fair and equitable treatment in the workplace. This position entails conducting in-depth, impartial investigations into complaints related to discrimination, harassment, and other violations of EEO policies originating from client companies. The EEO Specialist operates within the framework of federal, state, and local employment laws while adhering to best practices and internal guidelines. The primary objective is to prevent potential liabilities for both Insperity and its clients by fostering respectful, inclusive workplace environments free from discrimination.
In this role, the EEO Specialist meticulously assesses incoming complaints to determine if adverse action and protected bases are involved and decides on appropriate management paths using company protocols. The specialist plans and carries out thorough investigations into allegations of harassment and discrimination, analyzing complex fact patterns to identify when escalation is necessary. Managing multiple investigative cases simultaneously, the EEO Specialist prioritizes tasks, allocates resources efficiently, and communicates progress clearly to stakeholders.
The position demands strong written communication skills to prepare concise, grammatically correct position statements and negotiate settlements when applicable. Responsibilities also include facilitating closure calls, partnering with service teams for effective resolution implementation, and maintaining comprehensive, easily accessible case documentation. The EEO Specialist serves as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve timely and effective resolutions while embodying Insperity’s customer-for-life philosophy.
Insperity is committed to continuous learning and development, offering professional growth opportunities within the company, mentorship programs, and ongoing training. The specialist is expected to maintain a current understanding of federal and state EEO laws and emerging trends and share these insights with the team. The role also involves engaging in outreach and education initiatives to raise awareness about EEO services and legal developments.
Employment with Insperity is marked by flexibility, with over 80% of jobs offering a work-life balance that respects time spent with colleagues, family, and community. The compensation for this role ranges from $64,800 to $88,470, influenced by factors such as experience, skills, and location. Insperity offers a total rewards package that includes generous paid time off, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness support. The company embraces diversity and provides equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics.
