Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of fine dining experience
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage products
  • US work authorization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service

  • Knowledge of wine pairing and beverage program management
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Have complete knowledge of food and beverage products and specifications
  • Clear and reset tables as quickly as possible
  • Greet guests warmly with a smile and make eye contact
  • Check for table setting completeness
  • Describe breakfast, lunch, and dinner features, including menu changes and daily specials
  • Oversee table maintenance and coordinate service at the table with runners
  • Work with coworkers in clearing and re-setting tables
  • Operate as a team member, helping others and requesting help as needed
  • Perform other restaurant duties as requested by management
  • Keep all stations supplied with silverware, glassware, share plates, bread plates, placemats, condiments, sugar, coffee, tea, etc.
  • Ensure guests check is completed properly and presented promptly
  • Return change or charge slips in a timely manner
  • Communicate guests' needs to kitchen and management
  • Inform management of guests' reactions and comments
  • Assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service
  • Control alcohol service to prevent guest intoxication
  • Help promote a safe and clean environment for coworkers and guests
