Job Description
The center is seeking a dedicated Cook to supervise food preparation and serve meals and snacks to the center children. The Cook will also ensure the cleanliness, inventory management, and safety of the kitchen. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Job Requirements
- Maintain a valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Obtain Food Preparation and Nutrition Training certification (four hours) within the first 30 days of employment
- Maintain a satisfactory criminal records and comprehensive background check
- Complete 18 hours of professional development training annually
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to move as the position requires
- 2 years of food service experience, preferably in a school/daycare center
