The Team Member position at Earl of Sandwich is a vital role responsible for preparing the world’s greatest hot sandwiches by consistently following established recipes and procedures while maintaining high standards of food presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
  • Availability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a fast food or quick service restaurant preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic math and cash handling skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to multitask under pressure
  • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor

Job Duties

  • Answers the telephone within 3 rings and with a smile in his/her voice
  • Takes the guests order and handles cash and credit transaction
  • Enters orders accurately into the POS system
  • Handles guests problems efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • Prepares sandwiches, salads, and wraps using recipe specifications
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • Suggestively sells additional menu items
  • Checks food quality to ensure it is fresh and safe to serve
  • Greets guests when they are entering and leaving to make them feel comfortable and welcome
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensures proper setup and/or breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, kitchen, prep areas, and restrooms
  • Assists with cleaning and maintenance duties as needed
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or using hand truck
