The role of Environmental Services Housekeeper at Froedtert Hospital is pivotal in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment essential for healing and exceptional patient care. This full-time position requires dedication to delivering high standards of cleanliness in diverse hospital settings including inpatient rooms, office spaces, clinical areas, and public zones. The Housekeeper plans their work day meticulously, managing supplies and prioritizing tasks to meet the dynamic needs of the hospital. They perform inpatient room discharge cleaning to ensure aseptic environments that adhere to strict hospital policies and standards. Alongside daily cleaning, the role involves constant interaction with patients, families, and hospital staff, fostering professional and compassionate communication. The Housekeeper adapts to varying workloads and emergencies, demonstrating flexibility and critical thinking in problem-solving. The position demands continuous physical activity throughout assigned shifts which are scheduled as 40 hours per week, 3 PM to 11:30 PM from Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays. - Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties
- Perform inpatient room discharge cleaning to ensure aseptic environments
- Conduct daily cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, office spaces, public areas, and clinical spaces
- Prioritize and manage cleaning tasks based on hospital needs
- Collaborate and communicate professionally with coworkers, leaders, staff, patients, and families
- Adjust work tempo and duties according to daily hospital demands
- Use technology such as pager, email, and internet to perform essential job functions
- Uphold hospital cleaning standards as outlined in department policies
