Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in janitorial or custodial services preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including walking standing bending and lifting heavy objects
- willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques
- strong follow-through on delegated tasks and assignments
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to work the 3rd shift
- reliable and punctual

- basic knowledge of general housekeeping methods and practices cleaning products and use
- knowledge of hard floor and carpet detail projects
Job Duties
- perform projects as instructed by DFS management including carpet extraction encapsulation and spotting
- hard floor stripping waxing burnishing polishing and scrubbing
- facility periodic detailing duties as assigned
- perform and or report minor maintenance repairs and any damages
- maintain janitor closets in a clean organized and safe manner
- maintain janitorial equipment in a clean safe and operable condition
- proper labeling dilution and use of all chemicals
- wear proper personal protective equipment at all times
- perform other custodial duties as assigned
