Applegreen USA is a leading operator of over 80 travel plazas situated across the Northeast and Midwest regions of the United States. These plazas serve as convenient and comfortable stops for travelers, providing an extensive range of retail products and delicious food options. The brands featured within Applegreen travel plazas include well-known names such as Auntie Anne's, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Cinnabon, Dunkin Donuts, Panda Express, Panera, Popeyes, Pret, Shake Shack, Starbucks, and many more. Team members hired during peak business periods from April 1st through September 30th are classified as seasonal employees. As a Team Member at Applegreen, your role is vital in ensuring the satisfaction of travelers who visit the travel plazas. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness and stock levels, operating point-of-sale systems, and preparing and serving high-quality food items. The role demands a friendly, enthusiastic attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team Members support daily operations by following food safety standards, fulfilling kitchen duties such as prepping, cooking, and cleaning, and engaging with customers to provide a welcoming and helpful experience. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive and helpful interactions with travelers
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and follow all cash handling procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking product temperatures
  • Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning
  • Stock, clean, and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • Actively cross-sell and up-sell products
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza
  • Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned
