The role of Dual Sales and Catering Manager for SpringHill Suites and Fairfield by Marriott Raleigh/Cary offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the senior management team at one of CMC Hotels’ flagship properties. This position is critical in driving the hotel’s revenue growth by managing direct sales efforts and cultivating relationships with high-volume corporate and social accounts, including wedding venues, city-wide events, universities, sports organizations, and churches. The Dual Sales and Catering Manager will maintain comprehensive knowledge of occupancy trends and hotel availability to support the General Manager’s yield management goals. This role involves prospecting for new business opportunities, conducting hotel site tours and client presentations, and coordinating closely with various departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, and Operations to ensure the seamless execution of group blocks, billing arrangements, and event services. Using an approved customer database, this manager will nurture ongoing relationships with current and past clients to foster repeat business and enhance market presence.
This position requires supervisory responsibilities over the sales department, with an emphasis on hitting hotel revenue targets and implementing effective sales and marketing plans. The role also includes tasks aimed at enhancing public and community relations to elevate the hotel brand's local reputation. The Dual Sales and Catering Manager must also ensure strict adherence to CMC policy and Marriott brand standards, including maintaining relevant training certifications.
CMC Hotels offers a competitive salary aligned with experience, combined with an aggressive bonus package to reward outstanding performance. Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) health insurance, vision and dental coverage, life insurance, short-term disability, 401K retirement plans, paid vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays.
