Emerald Queen Casino is a renowned gaming and entertainment destination owned and operated by the Puyallup Tribe. The role available within the Table Games department is a dual-position combining the responsibilities of Floor Supervisor and Pit Manager. This unique opportunity allows the successful candidate to demonstrate leadership, operational expertise, and dedication to guest service. As a Floor Supervisor, the individual will manage assigned pit areas by overseeing table game personnel, ensuring that games run smoothly and compliantly, and providing direct, on-the-floor guidance to dealers. The Floor Supervisor also handles guest interactions professionally, maintaining a positive and welcoming gaming experience.
In the expanded capacity of Pit Manager, the responsibilities increase to include overall pit operations supervision, strict enforcement of casino policies, and the resolution of both gaming and non-gaming issues. The Pit Manager safeguards casino assets by issuing and inspecting game cards and dice, monitoring for gaming irregularities, authorizing guest complimentary services, and upholding regulatory compliance standards. This position plays a critical role in preserving the integrity of the casino’s gaming operations while also fostering team performance and a secure environment.
Wages for this full-time position are competitive, starting at $35.10 per hour when serving as Floor Supervisor and increasing to $44.37 per hour when performing Pit Manager duties. Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- satisfactory completion of dealer’s training school or casino approved equivalent
- proven abilities as casino dealer
- at least two years experience as a Table Games Supervisor
- at least two years of dealing experience required
- able to deal and supervise at least two types of table games (blackjack, roulette, and craps) and a novelty game
- must possess leadership attributes that can be further developed
- competent using MS Office Suite
- ability to stand for longer than 8 hours
- able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
- must be able to work all scheduled shifts including day, swing, graveyard, and holidays
- must obtain a Class III A or III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission
- pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions
- use of marijuana does not disqualify unless driving company vehicle
- willingness to comply with employer policies and procedures

- must obtain a Class III A or III B license as required by regulatory offices
- valid certifications in Responsible Gaming, Customer Service, Sexual Harassment, and Title 31 SARC
