Job Description
PAH Management is a prominent Dallas-based hotel ownership and management company that operates a diverse portfolio of select-service properties across multiple states under both Marriott and Hilton brands. Recognized for its commitment to placing associates first, PAH Management strives to cultivate a culture of respect, growth, and inclusivity, positioning itself as America's preferred hotel management company. With a focus on excellence and innovation, the company's portfolio includes well-known and well-regarded properties that enhance guest experiences and meet the evolving needs of the hospitality industry. The company places a strong emphasis on associate development, recognizing that a motivated and skilled team is essential for delivering exceptional service and achieving operational success. The Dual Hotel Operations Manager role is an exciting and challenging opportunity within PAH Management, based at two distinguished Hilton properties in Fort Wayne: Homewood Suites by Hilton Fort Wayne and Hilton Garden Inn Fort Wayne. This position involves managing the day-to-day operations of both hotels, ensuring adherence to brand standards, driving financial performance, and fostering a culture of outstanding guest service.
The Dual Hotel Operations Manager serves as a critical support to the General Manager by overseeing multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Breakfast/Food & Beverage, and Maintenance across both properties. This role demands a highly visible leader who can balance multiple operational needs while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction and cost control. The Dual Hotel Operations Manager is also responsible for serving as the Manager on Duty, providing hands-on leadership and swift decision-making for any operational challenges or emergencies. This position requires a proactive manager who can coordinate preventive maintenance and life safety programs, uphold cleanliness and service quality, and ensure the properties remain inviting and well-maintained.
Beyond daily operations, the role is also integral to financial management, involving budgeting assistance, labor productivity monitoring, expense control, and revenue maximization strategies. The manager works closely with the Sales and Revenue teams to support group operations, special events, and local business development, contributing to robust occupancy rates and revenue growth. Another vital function includes leadership and team development responsibilities such as recruiting, training, coaching associates, and conducting performance evaluations. This role is geared towards fostering a collaborative environment that motivates employees, promotes succession planning, and sustains high engagement and retention levels.
Administratively, the manager oversees reporting requirements, inventory accuracy, and compliance with corporate standards, ensuring operational transparency and strategic alignment. The position is full-time and exempt, reflecting the responsibility and expertise required to manage two successful hotel properties simultaneously. Comprehensive benefits accompany the role including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and educational reimbursement programs, supporting the wellbeing and professional growth of the manager.
This position is ideal for a candidate with at least three years of hotel supervisory or management experience, preferably with exposure to Hilton brand standards and a background in select-service or extended-stay hotel operations. Strong leadership skills, financial acumen, problem-solving abilities, and flexibility in scheduling are essential to thriving in this demanding yet rewarding role. PAH Management is committed to equal opportunity employment, welcoming qualified applicants from diverse backgrounds to join their dynamic team in Fort Wayne.
