Job Description
PAH Management is a Dallas-based hotel ownership and management company dedicated to operating a portfolio of select-service properties across multiple states. The company manages hotels under the well-known Marriott and Hilton brands, emphasizing the development of a culture that places associates first while striving to become America’s preferred hotel management company. PAH Management is committed to excellence in hospitality through collaborative leadership, continuous improvement, and adherence to high operational standards. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, the company ensures fair consideration for all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
The Dual Hotel General Manager position at PAH Management is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the overall success of two hotel properties located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This full-time leadership role demands strategic vision and hands-on management to drive financial performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and operational excellence. The General Manager acts as the primary on-site leader, ensuring that both properties uphold the highest standards set by PAH Management and the respective brand guidelines.
The position requires a dynamic leader capable of managing multiple departments and teams, fostering collaboration among department heads, and motivating staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences consistently. Key responsibilities include daily operational oversight, financial management, preventive maintenance supervision, and sales initiatives to grow business revenue. The role also includes developing and mentoring hotel managers and associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining a visible presence across the hotels to engage with guests and staff alike.
Financial acumen is essential as this role entails full responsibility for the hotels' profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and expense control. The General Manager will analyze key performance indicators such as occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR) to guide decision-making. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with ownership and corporate leadership to align the hotels' operations with broader business goals.
This position also demands physical mobility and flexibility, requiring the leader to travel regularly between the two hotel properties, work varied shifts including evenings and weekends, and physically navigate throughout the properties for inspections and operational support. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and employee incentives.
Overall, the Dual Hotel General Manager role at PAH Management offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead multiple properties, drive business success, and contribute to a company dedicated to associate development and high-quality guest service.
