Job Requirements
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- 8 years experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
- or 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- 6 years experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
- general manager experience preferred
- ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
- property industry experience with progressive career growth and exceptional performance
Job Qualifications
- 2-year degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related field with 8 years experience
- or 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related field with 6 years experience
- experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting
- general manager experience in limited or full-service property preferred
- demonstrated progressive career growth in the hospitality industry
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Develops and executes business strategy to maximize satisfaction, profitability, and market share
- Holds property leadership team accountable for strategy execution and professional development
- Collaborates with sales and marketing to generate revenue and pursue new business leads
- Creates and coaches a high-performance executive committee and supports employee development and succession planning
- Analyzes business data and market conditions to optimize financial and operational performance
- Maintains strong employee and labor relations by fostering communication and ensuring fair treatment
- Builds and manages relationships with property owners, balancing brand and ownership interests
- Engages with guests, addresses service issues, and promotes positive public relations
- Ensures compliance with legal, safety, and brand standards across the property
- Oversees revenue management and demand forecasting to maximize yield
